Refunds & Cancellations Policy

I bring deep care and presence to every product and service I offer. My work is personal, time-sensitive, and often handcrafted or customized, which is why I’ve created this clear and respectful policy. Thank you for understanding and supporting the care that goes into everything I do.

Physical Products

As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, please contact me at info@doulalili.dk within that period.

Returns are accepted if:

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect

 

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Opened consumable items (e.g. teas, massage oils, aromatherapy sprays)

  • Personalized or custom-made products

If your item is faulty or incorrect, please notify me within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. I will gladly offer a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs if applicable.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods and will be issued to your original payment method.

Digital Products & Online Workshops

Due to the nature of digital content, all digital downloads and online workshop access are non-refundable once the content has been delivered, accessed, or downloaded.

If you experience a technical issue or are unable to access the content, please contact me at info@doulalili.dk — I’ll be happy to help resolve the issue.

Birth & Postpartum Doula Services

Booking & Payment


To reserve your place in my calendar, a non-refundable retainer of one-third (1/3) of the total fee is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due by week 35 of your pregnancy.

 

Early booking is essential, as I support a limited number of families each month to ensure quality and presence.

If you need to cancel your doula support, the following applies based on how many weeks remain before your estimated due date (EDD)

  • More than 13 weeks before EDD: 50% refund of the total fee

  • Between 4–13 weeks before EDD: 25% refund

  • Less than 4 weeks before EDD: No refund

 

If we’ve already shared any prenatal or postpartum visits, the value of those completed sessions will be deducted from the total refund. You may be asked to confirm your estimated due date.

Refunds are not issued if:

  • Backup doula support is needed

  • Your birth unfolds differently than expected (e.g. planned or unplanned cesarean birth)

  • You do not contact me in time for birth attendance

  • You do not schedule or use postpartum doula support within 6 weeks after birth

 

I understand that plans can shift, and if something unexpected arises, I invite you to reach out — I’ll always approach the situation with clarity and care.

Private Consultations & Individual/Group Workshops

  • Payment is due at the time of service

  • Completed sessions are non-refundable

  • You are welcome to reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, at no extra cost

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or no-shows, may be charged in full

 

I understand that with little ones or healing bodies, life can be unpredictable. If something

comes up, please contact me — I’ll always do my best to offer flexibility when possible.
