Breastfeeding Support

I offer breastfeeding support during pregnancy and throughout postpartum, with home visits in Copenhagen and nearby areas.

Breastfeeding is more than nutrition — it can be a relationship of nourishment, comfort, connection and love. But it doesn't always come easily. Pain, questions about milk supply, latch difficulties, long feeds, pumping, mixed feeding, or simply wondering whether things are going as expected can quickly make feeding feel overwhelming.

Breastfeeding support gives you a space to understand what is happening and decide what you want to do next.

During a home visit, I can listen to your experience, observe a feed, offer clear evidence-based information and practical guidance, and support the choices that work for you and your baby — whether your goal is exclusive breastfeeding, combination feeding, or finding another way forward.

How I support you?

Understand what is happening
We look at your feeding experience, your baby's feeding and the difficulties or questions you're experiencing, so you can better understand what may be happening and what options you have.

Find practical ways forward
Rather than giving you a generic breastfeeding plan, we explore practical changes that fit your baby, your body, your feeding goals and your everyday life.

Make informed feeding choices
Breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, formula or changing your original plan can bring a lot of emotion and outside opinions. My role is to give you clear information and support your decisions — not decide for you.

Have support while things develop
Feeding changes from day to day. Two weeks of follow-up means we can see what happens after the consultation, answer new questions and adjust when needed.

Prepare before breastfeeding begins
Prenatal support can help you and your partner understand what the first days may look like, what is normal, what can be challenging and when it is useful to ask for help.

At your home
I come to you, so you and your baby can stay in your own space. Home visits are available in Copenhagen and surrounding areas. If you live further away, contact me and we can see what is possible.
Before my visit
You don’t need to prepare anything before my visit — and please don’t delay a feed while waiting for me. Feed your baby as you normally would. We’ll follow your baby’s natural rhythm during the visit and work with whatever happens while I’m there.

Ready to reach out?

Tell me a little about what is happening, how old your baby is, and what you would like support with. I’ll get back to you so we can decide the best next step.

Lili is the lactation consultant of dreams. I had a difficult time with breastfeeding, and Lili not only helped with teaching me the physical techniques—she also supported me in making decisions that were the best for me. She made it clear that there was no “right away” to approaching bf vs formula vs mixed feeding. It’s about personal choice, and we talked through each of the options until I found a solution that felt right. My life changed a lot after working with Lili and I can’t recommend her services highly enough.
